Durham University’s Institute for Medical Humanities and Department of English Studies warmly welcome prospective applicants to the British Academy’s Newton Fellowship Scheme to contact staff in the Department ahead of an internal deadline of 24 May.
The British Academy Newton scheme supports researchers for 2 years at a UK institution, with the aim of fostering long-term international collaborations. Applicants: 1) must not hold UK citizenship. 2) work outside the UK. 3) should have no more than 7 years of active fulltime postdoctoral experience at the time of application (discounting career breaks, but including teaching experience and/or time spent in industry).
